We are an all ladies, non-profit organization from South Africa, with regional representation in Johannesburg, Nelspruit, Hartebeestport, Dullstroom and Cape Town.

The initial idea was sparked in 2008, when the founding member, upon turning 40, set off on her first adventure – climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, with a fellow brave lady, while raising funds for charity.

Soon more brave women joined in on more adventures, with the emphasis on raising funds and giving back, while having loads of fun! Adventures For Love was born.

What sets us apart from other charities? We do not give money directly to recipients – rather, we work with established organisations and community services in identifying projects, we are physically present on all projects and we personally ensure donations are matched to wish lists.

Our adventures and fundraisers have included: walking 60km on the Great Wall of China, rowing 100km down the Zambezi, hiking amongst the Namaqualand daisies, trekking the Himalayas, and walking from Greyton to McGregor. We have also hosted, amongst others, the following charity events: wine & gin tastings, breakfasts, Bowls tournament, Barnyard Theatre and Golf days.
