FUNDRAISER: AFL GOLF DAY 2024

The annual AFL Golf Day was held on 28 June 2024 at the ERPM Golf Course. The day was filled with golf, entertainment and fun. After a remarkable number of raffle tickets sold, a few lucky draw prizes were handed out and Chad McGiddy (Radio Data Communications) was the lucky winner of a Dullstroom Country Cottages with golf at Highland Gate voucher. All raffles sold will now go back into the draw for the amazing end of year prize.

After a great day on the golf course, we had live entertainment by Twisted, and loads of fun was had by all. Not often that golf leads to dancing… A short auction was done by the South African actor, Altus Theart that had to dig deep for his best English.

A heartfelt thank you to all our amazing sponsors, golfers, and supporters! Thanks to your incredible support, we raised a total of R61 700 at our event. Your generosity is making a real difference.

The Golf Day was a huge success and the money raised will be used for the AFL Wild Dog Collaring Project planned for September 2024. The day would not have been possible without the great support from the players, sponsors, donors, Twisted and the AFL team.
