FUNDRAISER:  MUSIC QUIZ 2022

On Sunday 24 July we put the FUN in fundraising. We had a Music quiz at Pirates Sport Club in Johannesburg.  A FUN afternoon was had all around. 

Dr. Fransli Buckle put quite a challenging quiz together spanning the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. We had a full house and learned that spelling actually still counts even if you are no longer at school. Era specific music was done by Jaco Dennis, just to get everyone in the right frame of reference. With friends like these no challenge is to great. 

Our three top teams were: 

• No Clue,
• “Kate Bush”
• SOA. 

Thanks to amazing sponsors these teams won hampers filled to the brim with goodies. 

As we always do raffle tickets for our annual draw was sold on the day. Thanks to a generous donation from Dylan we were able to have an amazing lucky draw for a breakaway in Mozambique. The support we get from the public is overwhelming at times but so greatly appreciated.

Putting the FUN in FUNdraising is something AFL always aim for…. A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the day possible! Friends make it possible for us to keep on doing what we do!
